Underworld's Karl Hyde is now 68 and Rick Smith is 66 but they still delivered an onslaught of heavy beats and atmospheres in this smallish-club to a crowd of 1000-plus.
The show was split into two halves with a great selection of classic Underworld dark bangers mixed with some of the new material from their latest album, Strawberry Hotel. There was no Rez but Underworld ended with the great Born Slippy. NUXX - what a song it still is. From the delicate and beautiful atmopsheric intro to its thumpin' heart it is seemingly ageless.
Great show.
